Solomon Poretsky is an experienced commercial real estate trainer, coach, and consultant drawing on over twenty years’ history serving brokers, managers, leaders, and companies throughout the commercial real estate vertical.

His commercial real estate career started at a leading investment sales brokerage firm in their Sacramento office, where he was an award-winning office and industrial investment sales broker — and the office’s #1 cold caller for the majority of his first two years in the business. He transitioned into the firm’s management team and opened the Minneapolis office from nothing, building it from $0 to the number one brokerage office in Minneapolis in retail and multi family transactions within two years. He was involved in over $1.2 billion of listings, sales and closings as an agent, a regional manager, and was a recipient of that firm’s prestigious National Faculty Member designation.

Solomon also worked at Custom Skills Development, a commercial real estate consulting firm that provided coaching, development, and training services to agents and commercial real estate brokerages across North America, then joined a top 10 commercial real estate brokerage brand, where he served as a senior executive. There, he helped approximately 200 offices and 2000 advisors and staff across a global network to grow their businesses. He developed award-winning online training, and served as a lead instructor in the company’s broker and manager training programs, as well as delivering regular broker training webinars and facilitating group coaching for managers.

Prior to his commercial real estate, Solomon ran a web design consultancy. He also worked on the instructional design of one of the world’s first online master’s degree programs. He graduated cum laude from Columbia University in the City of New York with a bachelor’s degree and earned a second BA, with honors, from the Jewish Theological Seminary.

Today, he resides in suburban Minneapolis with his wife, twin sons, and pets, including a St. Bernard named Snorlax.
